This article explains how to download an earned badge from your Udemy account, after it has been imported to your Udemy account.
You may wish to download the badges so you can access them outside your Udemy account or import your badges onto another platform.

Udemy supports the Open Badge v2 standard only.
- Open Badges are digital versions of a credential, certification, or learning outcome, which can be verified in real-time, online.
- Since the badge image follows the Open Badges standards, the badge image file will include information about the learner’s achievement and the issuing organization.

How to download a badge from your Udemy account
1. After logging in to your Udemy account, click on My learning at the top right of your screen.
2. On your My learning page, click on the Certifications tab.
3. Click on the top right corner of the badge you wish to download. From the dropdown menu, select Download badge.
4. Select Download and the image of the badge, along with the embedded metadata, will be downloaded in the Open Badge format.
Please note: The badge will remain in your Udemy account after it’s downloaded, and will only be removed if the remove badge action is completed. If you need to remove a badge, move your cursor to the ellipses at the top right of the badge and select Remove badge from the dropdown menu.
