How to Adjust the Video Quality on the Mobile App

If you’re watching your Udemy courses on either the iOS or Android app, you can quickly adjust the video quality of the lecture to a higher or lower resolution, depending on your needs. In addition, you can also adjust the quality of the videos that you wish to download for offline viewing.

This article outlines how you can do this on both the Android and iOS app. If you haven’t downloaded the Udemy mobile app, you can do so by clicking here.

How to Adjust the Video Quality for Lectures on the iOS App

If you’re watching your Udemy courses on the iOS mobile app and wish to change the video quality of the lecture, you can quickly do so by following these steps:

  2. Tap on Video Quality
  3. Select either 360p, 480p, 720p, 1080p or Auto for the video resolution

Please note: if you want to watch the video in the best resolution possible, select 1080p. If you’re in an area with a weak Wifi connection or cellular signal, however, you may want to choose a lower resolution. If you select “auto”, then the app will automatically select the resolution based on the internet bandwidth that’s available.
