How to Unsubscribe From Udemy or Instructor Notifications

If you no longer wish to receive certain notifications from Udemy and instructors, you can unsubscribe from them by changing your notification preferences.

Edit your notification preferences

To update your notification preferences:

1. At the top right of the page, click on your profile picture or initials, and select Account settings from the dropdown menu.
2. On the right-hand side of your profile page, click Notification Preferences.
3.  On the Notification preferences page, use the toggle buttons to turn on notifications for all topics under a specific category, or use the check boxes to select specific preferences:
   1. Updates and offerings: notifications regarding product launches, offers, or promotions.
   2. Your learning: notifications related to your learning experience, including course recommendations and notifications from instructors.
4. Click Save.

Unsubscribe from notifications for a specific course

Many instructors send announcements regarding new lectures and other information relevant to the course. If you don’t want to receive these messages from a specific course, you can unsubscribe from the course player:

1. Click the ellipses at the top right of the course player.
2. Use the check boxes to turn on or off:

  • Promotional emails
