How can I see what currency is assigned for my account?
The currency that is assigned for your account will be indicated in the course prices you see, when you search for courses on the Udemy marketplace. Please be sure that you’re logged into your Udemy account, however, so that the correct currency is indicated.

Why have I seen two different currencies at Udemy.com?
Please be sure to log into your Udemy account in order to see the currency that is assigned to your account. If you are traveling or are using someone else’s computer, then the currency you see might be based on the device’s current location or that person’s account, rather than your own.

What taxes are charged for Udemy courses?
Students who reside in regions that collect transaction taxes like VAT, GST, or other types of sales taxes may be required to pay a tax when they make a purchase on the Udemy platform. For more information on taxes please read our Taxes: Student FAQ.
Why is the currency at checkout different from the currency assigned to my account?
Some banks and financial institutions will not authorize international payments in certain currencies, and as a result, the purchases are processed in another currency at the equivalent price. For example, a learner in Brazil may see prices displayed in BRL, but pay in USD, if they choose certain payment methods at checkout.
If you have any additional questions regarding your financial institution's restrictions or policies regarding this, we recommend you contact them directly for more information.
Does Udemy charge any currency conversion fees?
Udemy does not charge any currency conversion fees when you purchase a course.
If you purchase a course in a currency that’s different from your payment method’s currency, however, your financial institution or the third-party payment processor may apply a currency conversion rate or fee.
Please contact your financial institution or payment provider for information on what conversion fees may apply.
