There are a few common issues instructors face as their videos go through our Quality Review Process. Learn more about these common issues--and their solutions--here:
- Distortion: A rasping sound that results from incorrect audio levels.
- Background Noise: Interference in your audio that distracts from the student experience.
- Echo: An echo sound results from a recording location that is not optimized for sound.
If you’re working through audio issues, we highly recommend that you submit a test video first before you record all of your lectures. Once you submit a test video, a Udemy team member will review your audio (and video) recording settings to ensure you are set up for success in the Quality Review Process and the Udemy marketplace.
