Here are the Main changes With the New Experience:
- Updated Interface: With the new immersive video experience and downloadable resources, students can focus on your video content while quickly accessing resources.
ACTION: If you include any screenshots or screencasts referencing any of our old course taking interface please remove. As a best practice, please link to our support articles when helping students navigate through your course as this interface will continue to change and evolve based on feedback.
- Notes are now called Bookmarks: Students can tag and take notes on the parts of your videos that are most important to them. This replaces the “Notes” tool.ll previous Notes will be converted to Bookmarks. Bookmarks have a 140 character limit.
- Discussions are now called Questions: Optimized for asking and answering questions while students are taking your course, we’ve also added the ability for you (and the original poster) to mark a response as the correct answer. All previous Discussions now appear as Questions.
ACTION: If you’ve asked students to share their experience using the discussions, we suggest you create a questions for them to respond to. e.g. Create a question called “How did you do? Post your work here.” We're working on a better solution for this
- Ebook (PDF) content will be accessed as a downloadable resource for the students. We will no longer be displaying this content inline.
