You can also adjust the font size of the subtitles, and the background opacity for them, by clicking on Caption Settings. Then click on Font Size or Background Opacity to make the adjustments you wish to see. The option to have the subtitles appear under the course video can also be accessed in the caption settings.
How the language for the subtitles is determined
If your account language is set to any other language than English, then subtitles in this language will appear automatically. If subtitles in your account language aren't available, however, then English subtitles will show instead.
You can turn the subtitles off at anytime by following the steps outlined above in the Turn Subtitles On or Off section. Please note that this turns subtitles off for all subtitled courses.

How to access transcripts for the course
The transcripts feature is another way to read text of what instructors are saying, as you progress through their course. In addition, transcripts can help you find relevant content more easily, by providing the ability to easily navigate through text of what the instructor’s said.
You can quickly access the transcripts feature by clicking on the Transcripts at the bottom of the course player.
After you click on Transcripts, text of what the instructor’s said will open on the right-hand panel of the screen. The transcripts will be written in the same language that has been selected for the subtitles.
The current sentence will be highlighted, and then the text will autoscroll, as the instructor continues to speak. You can jump ahead, or back to any moment in the lecture, by clicking on a particular sentence.
