What are course bundles?
Course bundling is a self-serve tool that empowers instructors to create bundles of 2 to 3 courses to reach more learners. These bundles will appear on the relevant course landing pages, enabling you to provide guided learning paths and showcase your course offerings.
How to create course bundles
- On the Instructor view, select the Tools page from the sidebar menu.
- Note: You can also access the tool by navigating to Instructor View > Courses and clicking +Create course bundle.
- Select Course Bundling, then click Get Started.
- Enter the Bundle title and Description.
- Note: Both of these will be visible to the learner on the course landing page.
4. Select 2 to 3 published courses from the drop down menus to bundle together.
5. (Optional) Under Bundle availability, select start and end dates for your bundle.

- If you want your bundle to be always available, leave these fields blank.
- Your course status will change to Expired on the End date that you set.
6. Select Publish Bundle to set your bundle live to learners.
- Note: It may take up to 24 hours from publication for your bundle to be visible for learners.
Edit your course bundle
- Navigate to Instructor view > Courses > Course bundles tab.
- Click the three dots next to the course bundle.
- Your course bundle will have one of 4 statuses: Publish, Scheduled, Expired, Unpublished.
- Click Edit to open the Create bundles page.
On the Create bundles page, you can edit the title, description, included courses, and availability.
- Note: It may take up to 24 hours for changes to your bundle to be reflected on the course landing page.
Unpublish or republish your course bundle
- Navigate to Instructor view > Courses > Course bundles tab.
- Click the three dots next to the course bundle.
- Click Unpublish bundle or Republish bundle.
Note:
- When you unpublish a bundle, it may take up to 48 hours for the bundle to be removed from the course landing pages.
- The unpublished bundle will remain in your Course Bundles tab with the Unpublished status, so that you can edit or republish it at a later date.
View the status of your course bundle
To see your course bundles, navigate to Instructor view > Courses > Course bundles tab.
One of these status will be beside each course bundle:
- Published - Your course bundle is live and visible to learners.
- Scheduled - Your course bundle is not yet live or visible to learners, but is scheduled to go live.
- Expired - Your course bundle has expired according to the end date you set, and is not live or visible to learners.
- Unpublished - Your course bundle is unpublished and not live or visible to learners.
Frequently asked questions
Who can create course bundles?
Only the course owner can create course bundles.
Is there a limit on how many bundles a course can be included in?
No, there are no restrictions on the number of bundles a course can be included in.
How does pricing work for course bundles?
The total price of each bundle will reflect the sum of the original course prices, with a special pricing feature automatically applied to all instructor-led course bundles for instructors opted into the Deals Program.
Where will the course bundles appear?
Course bundles will appear on the landing pages of the courses included in the bundle. We're working on expanding search and category pages for increased learner discoverability.
- Note: If a course is included in more than one bundle, the bundle with the strongest social proof will be shown on the course landing page.
Udemy had previously included my course in a bundle, which one will learners see?
Instructor created bundles will take precedence over Udemy created bundles and Udemy created bundles including all or some of the same courses included in the instructor created courses will not be visible.
Learners will only be able to see a Udemy created bundle where no relevant instructor created bundle exists.
How will these instructor course bundles appear to Personal Plan subscribers?
If all the courses in a course bundle are available on the Personal Plan subscription, the bundle won’t be shown to Personal Plan subscribers.
If some or all of the courses in the bundle are not included in the Personal Plan subscription, the bundle will be shown to Personal Plan subscribers. However, they won’t be charged for any courses in the bundle that are already available to them through their subscription.
