The Performance tab includes extensive tools and analytics to help instructors track their course performance, learn about their students, and understand the overall impact they’re having on Udemy. This article outlines how instructors can utilize the Performance features to gain key insights about their courses and students, and identify opportunities that will help them improve their success on Udemy.
Please note: the Performance features will be available in beta form from August 22nd, 2018, and our team will continue to make improvements to the existing interface in the coming weeks.
How to Navigate to Your Performance Tab
To navigate to the Performance tab in your account follow the steps below:
- Navigate to the course page (steps on how to can be viewed here).
- Click Performance on the left-hand side.
- You will see an Overview of your course performance, including the option to select the Students, Engagement and Conversion tabs.
In addition to the course’s instructor, co-instructors and teaching assistants can review performance analytics if the Performance permission has been enabled for that particular course. Overview: instructors can review their performance via several metrics, including course revenue, student enrollments and course ratings. Learn more by clicking here.
Students: this helps instructors learn more about the students enrolled in their courses, their student’s educational interests and the market reach of their Udemy content. Learn more by clicking here.
Traffic & Conversion: includes traffic and conversion analytics that can provide instructors with key insights on how students are discovering their courses and their market demand. Learn more by clicking here.
