What’s the difference between a Udemy Pro subscription and a regular Udemy Marketplace course?
Udemy Pro is a guided learning experience designed specifically to help students accomplish their IT certification goals. When subscribed to Udemy Pro, you will have unlimited access to the subscription’s content as long as you are paying for a monthly subscription. With a regular Udemy Marketplace course, you obtain lifetime access to that course alone after enrolling in it.
Are subscriptions offered in other topic areas?
Currently, we are not offering subscriptions in topic areas not related to IT certification.
Will I have full lifetime access to subscription content?
You will have unlimited access to subscription content as long as you have an active Udemy Pro subscription. If you cancel your subscription, you will have access to the subscription content until the final date of your billing period, which is posted on your Subscriptions' page.
Does the subscription program come with a 30-day money-back guarantee?
Since Udemy Pro is a subscription product, it does not offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. You may cancel at any time during your free trial, however, without being charged.
How does the free trial work?
You can try Udemy Pro free for 7 days to determine if it’s a good fit for your learning needs. After 7 days, your trial will automatically convert to a recurring $19.99 per month subscription.
How and when will I be billed?
Once your free trial converts to a monthly subscription, your first payment will be prorated for the remainder of the month (for example, if billing starts on the 15th of the month you will be charged for the 15th through the 30th). The following months will be billed on the first day of the month at the price of $19.99 per month.
How can I view applicable fees and dates of my free trial period/subscription?
You can view this information on the Subscription page. You can navigate to the Subscription page in your account by heading to your profile and then by clicking Subscription on the left-hand side.
Why can’t I see the option to enroll in Udemy Pro?
Currently Udemy Pro is an early release product, which is not available to all students at this time. But, rest assured we are working to gradually make the subscription available to more students. Please continue to visit the site to discover new courses and products!
Canceling your subscription
How can I cancel my free trial before being charged?
You may cancel at any time during your free trial without being charged. To cancel, log into your Udemy account, visit the Subscription tab in your student profile, and click “Cancel trial”. You can navigate to the Subscription page in your account by heading to your profile and then by clicking Subscription on the left-hand side.
How can I manage or cancel my subscription?
You can visit the aforementioned Subscription tab in your student profile to manage or cancel your subscription at any time. If you cancel your subscription, you will have access to the subscription content until the final date of your billing period, which is posted on your Subscriptions’ page.
Course taking questions
Can I take my Udemy Pro courses on the Udemy mobile app?
At this time, the Udemy Pro learning experience is not accessible on the Udemy mobile app. You can, however, access it via a browser on your mobile device at Udemy.com (in addition to your desktop or laptop).
Where can I access the practice tests?
You can access the practice tests for your Udemy Pro subscription by clicking on the course dropdown menu icon, which appears right above the course player on the left-hand side.
