What is passwordless email authentication?
Passwordless email authentication is a secure way to verify a user’s identity without using a password. With passwordless email authentication, a 6-digit code is sent to your email inbox when you’re signing up or logging in to Udemy.
Can I sign up by creating a password instead?
Passwordless email authentication enhances the security of your Udemy account and helps prevent unauthorized access. As a result, passwordless email authentication is the default method for signing up to Udemy and it’s not possible to create an account using a password.
Depending on your location, you may also have the option of signing up using:
- Facebook, Google, or Apple
- Your phone number
