No, it’s not possible to pause your subscription. If you cancel the Learn AI with Google subscription, your access to the subscription content, your course progress, and certificate access via the course will be lost once your plan expires. However, your Google AI Pro trial should not be affected by this cancellation.
Will I have lifetime access to Learn AI with Google content?
You will have unlimited access to subscription content as long as you have an active Learn AI with Google subscription. If you cancel your subscription, you’ll have access to the subscription content until the final date of your billing period, which is posted on your Subscriptions page.

How do the graded quizzes work?
For each graded quiz, you have 3 attempts per day. The number of attempts remaining will be indicated at the top of the quiz.
To take a quiz:
- From your course, access the graded quiz under Course Content.
- Click Begin test to start the test.
- For each question, you’ll see the allocated time and the time remaining at the top.
- Click Next question to work through the quiz and Finish test to complete the quiz.
Once you click Finish test, you’ll see the results page. You must achieve a score of 80% or higher to pass the quiz. Click Retake test to take the quiz again within the limits of your remaining daily attempts.

You can view your subscription information, and manage its settings, by navigating to your Subscription page. If you’re accessing your account via Udemy.com on a browser, the Subscriptions page can be accessed from the drop-down menu at the top right-hand of your screen.

1. Navigate to your Subscriptions page (if available in your account) to review the subscription plans you’re eligible to enroll in. The Subscriptions page can be accessed from the drop-down menu at the top right of the page.
2. Click on the subscription you would like to choose and complete the checkout process.

3. After subscribing, you can access courses available to you via the Subscriptions tab on your My Learning page.
Via a course landing page on Udemy.com: you can also sign up for a Udemy subscription through a course landing page, by following the steps below.
1. If a course is included in a subscription, you will see the option to enroll in the subscription on the course landing page at Udemy.com.
2. Enter your payment information and complete the checkout process.
3. You can access that course, and others available to you, by clicking on the Enroll now option on the course landing page.
Via the Udemy mobile app
Depending on your account or region, you may also have the option to enroll in a subscription via the Udemy mobile app. To enroll in a subscription via the Subscriptions page on the mobile app, follow the steps below:
1. On the mobile app, tap Account at the bottom of the screen.
2. Next, tap Subscriptions in your account settings.
3. Select the subscription you would like to choose and complete the checkout process.
Notifications to enroll will also be accessible on the Featured screen and the course landing page for courses included in the subscription.
Please note: Payments for subscription enrollments through the iOS and Android mobile apps are processed by Apple and Google Play and not Udemy. Accordingly, we recommend contacting Apple and Google Play directly, if you encounter any issues attempting to enroll with these in-app purchases.
Trying a free trial
Free trials may be offered as part of promotional campaigns. If you’ve received a free trial by participating in a promotion, follow the instructions on the subscription page. The duration of your free trial, when it ends, and how much your subscription fee will be is posted on your Subscription’s page.
You may cancel at any time during your free trial without being charged.

After the trial ends, your trial will automatically convert to the applicable subscription fee (plus applicable transaction taxes).
Please note:
- If you have previously accessed the Personal Plan, either through a free trial or paid subscription, for either the monthly or annual option, you may not be eligible for free trials offered as part of a promotion.
- Skipping the free trial is not possible before or after new subscribers enroll. The subscription fee cannot be paid before the free trial period concludes.
Why can’t I purchase a Udemy subscription?

When determining the collection’s courses, our team evaluates a number of criteria, some of which include the course rating, instructor performance, and topic relevance.
What’s the difference between a Personal Plan subscription and purchasing a Udemy Marketplace course?
- Personal Plan: A monthly or annual subscription with access to thousands of courses in hundreds of course topics. You will have unlimited access to the subscription’s content as long as you are subscribed to Personal Plan.
- Udemy course: By purchasing a Udemy marketplace course, you obtain lifetime access to that course alone after enrolling in it.

Why do I see an option to get my course for free with a Personal Plan subscription?
When viewing certain course landing pages, you may see that a paid course is offered for free with the purchase of a Personal Plan subscription.
After finding an eligible course that is included in the offer, please follow the instructions below:
Please note: To redeem the free course, you must navigate to the Personal Plan checkout directly from the course landing page of the eligible course. This is the only way to access the offer.
1. Click Get Started.
2. You will be navigated to the Personal Plan checkout page to complete your subscription enrollment.
3. As noted above, after completing your enrollment, you will receive access to the single course you selected in your My Library and the entire Personal Plan catalog.
Please note:
- Your subscription will grant access to the full Personal Plan catalog, along with that single course. You will not gain access to all other courses with this offer listed on their course landing page.
- This offer is only available to learners who are not currently subscribed to Personal Plan.

Can I pause my Personal Plan subscription?
No. Once your Personal Plan subscription is canceled, the course progress and certificate access via the course will be lost upon cancellation.
Is Personal Plan available on the Udemy mobile app?
Depending on your account or region, you may have the option to enroll in a subscription via the Udemy mobile app.
Regardless of whether you enroll in the subscription at Udemy.com or the mobile app, however, you can access all the courses for Personal Plan via a desktop, laptop, mobile browser, or Udemy’s mobile app.

- If you are not yet subscribed, courses labeled “Start subscription” on the course landing page indicate the course is included.
- If you are already subscribed and you're logged into your Udemy account, "Enroll now” on the course landing page indicates the course is included in the subscription.
Can I request to have a course added to the Personal Plan subscription?
No. As noted above, when determining the collection’s courses, our team evaluates a number of criteria, some of which include the course rating, instructor performance, and topic relevance. Although courses cannot be added to the collection by request at this time, you can purchase the course separately on Udemy and receive lifetime access to it.

What languages are the courses taught in?
Currently, the Personal Plan subscription includes courses that are taught in English, and depending on your location, a localized, course collection may be available. We hope to add more courses that are instructed in other languages moving forward.
English auto-generated subtitles have been added to all non-language learning courses, and many of the collection’s courses offer subtitles in additional languages.

Will I have full lifetime access to subscription content?
You will have unlimited access to subscription content as long as you have an active Personal Plan subscription. If you cancel your subscription, you will have access to the subscription content until the final date of your billing period, which is posted on your Subscriptions page.
Will I still have access to courses I enrolled in before subscribing to Personal Plan?
Subscribing to Personal Plan does not affect your access to courses that you've previously purchased or enrolled in. You will continue to have lifetime access to all courses you enrolled in before subscribing, provided that your account is in good standing and Udemy has a license to that course.

Will I receive a certificate of completion after finishing courses in my Personal Plan?
Yes. You will receive a certificate of completion after finishing courses you’ve taken via the Personal Plan subscription.

Why can’t I find a course in my Personal Plan?

If there is a specific course you are interested in that is not available under your current subscription, you can purchase the course separately and receive lifetime access to it.
How do I find courses outside of my Personal Plan subscription?
To view courses outside of the Personal Plan, scroll to the bottom of any search results page or course category page. Then, click on Search outside your subscription at the bottom of the page.
Here, you will be able to purchase individual courses not available through the Personal Plan subscription.
