    What is Role Play?

Role Plays are an interactive feature that allows learners to practice their skills by engaging with an AI character in realistic scenarios.

In the beginning, you will receive an agenda with more information about the AI character you are speaking to and the meeting goals for your conversation. You can have a conversation, ask questions, and practice in a real-world situation.

Role Plays help you apply course learnings through hands-on practice, helping to build confidence and develop skills such as decision-making, problem-solving, and communication.

    Which courses offer Role Play?

If a course offers a Role Play, this will be indicated on the course landing page, under the This course includes section.

Once you are in the meeting, the AI character will initiate the conversation. Your microphone will be on at the beginning of the conversation, but you can select the microphone icon at any time to disable it.

Please note: If you experience issues with the microphone, please ensure that your browser's microphone settings are enabled. You can also use the chat feature that is mentioned below.

Completing Your Assignment And Viewing Feedback

Once you have submitted your assignment and have navigated through each section to the Give Feedback page, click on Complete Assignment at the bottom right.

After completing the assignment, your assignment should be marked as complete with a checkmark. If you do not see a checkbox next to your assignment, please try refreshing your page.

Please note: Assignments cannot be resubmitted or unmarked as complete.

After the course instructor or other students post feedback on your assignment (if you have opted to share it with them), you will receive a notification from Udemy. The notification will include a link to the summary page that features the feedback.

This article includes answers to frequently asked questions regarding Udemy’s practice test feature, which provides comprehensive, long-form simulated exams for learners to assess their knowledge of a particular subject.

Frequently asked questions regarding practice tests

Here are answers to frequently asked questions regarding practice tests.

How will I know which courses offer these exams?

To learn how to locate and complete practice tests, please visit the applicable Help Center article below:

Is there an additional charge to take the practice test?

Will I be notified if I take longer than the time allotted to complete the exam?

Yes. The practice tests include a timer, which is set to match the same amount of time that’s allowed for the official, certifying exam. If you go past the time allotted, the practice test will alert you.

How can I review my answers?

You can review all the answers you submitted by clicking on Review questions after you’ve completed an exam, and see which questions you got right or wrong. • The Free Course Experience

Free courses on Udemy offer students a simplified learning experience. This simplified experience limits the features that are available in a free course compared to a paid course. For example, free courses do not offer a certificate of completion, and additional course features like the Q&A and direct messaging are not included in free course enrollments.

All of these features are available in our paid course offerings. If you want access to these additional features, we recommend enrolling in a paid course

Please note: Students who enroll in paid courses via promotional coupons, our gifting option, or Udemy credits will also have access to all the course features.

Free courses may include advertisements (ads). Ads may appear before, during, or after lessons, on course pages, and within the course player. Ads do not alter the course content and do not constitute an endorsement by Udemy. If you enrolled in a free course prior to March 17, 2020, you will retain access to Q&A and your certificate of completion for those free courses only. All new free course enrollments after March 16, 2020 will not have access to the additional features.
